- Click Start
- Select Programs
- Select DAEMON Tools program group
- Click Uninstall
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- Reboot your computer
Use this if the DAEMON Tools program group does not exist
- Locate the folder DAEMON Tools was installed to
- Run uninst.exe
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- Reboot your computer
Use this if uninst.exe does not exist or work as expected
- Locate and delete the folder which DAEMON Tools was installed to
- If you had an older version than DAEMON Tools 4.06 installed, go to \System32\Drivers (usually located in C:\Windows) and delete dtscsi.sys
DAEMON Tools v4 uses the SPTD (SCSI Pass Through Direct) driver by Duplex Secure. This driver is not uninstalled with DAEMON Tools Lite. For information on how to uninstall SPTD, please visit Duplex Secure.
