Installation

Download the latest DAEMON Tools Lite version from official product's web-site DAEMON-Tools.cc or from official vendor's site Disc-Soft.com and save it to your hard disc drive.

Right after finish of installation the first virtual drive will be added(it takes some time) and main form of DAEMON Tools Lite will appear. If you installed not last version of DAEMON Tools Lite, the Update dialog appears from where you can download last available version.

Installation Command Line Switches

When you run the Setup wizard, Setup is running in interactive mode. That is, a graphical user interface (GUI) prompts you for required information. Alternatively, you can run Setup in silent mode, with no GUI displaying. In this mode, required information is supplied at the command prompt. You can install DAEMON Tools Lite in silent mode.

• /S – silent mode. Runs the installer or uninstaller silently
• /serial <serial number> — in case serial number is not entered, Browser features would be installed
• /nogadget — DAEMON Tools Sidebar Gadget doesn't install automatically on Windows Vista/7 (can be installed manually later)
• /notoolbar — DAEMON Tools Toolbar doesn't install automatically on Windows Vista/7 (can be installed manually later)
• /sptd — SPTD driver will be installed
• /D=<install path> — Installs DAEMON Tools Lite into set folder, in this example c:\folder name (path doesn't have to be in quotes)

Example:
C:\Users\guestUser\Downloads\DTLite4401-0114.exe /S /serial aa11aabb22bbcc33ccdd44ddee55eeff /D="C:\Program Files"
Note: Do not forget to set the path in quotes if it contains spaces!
