Automatic Uninstallation (Recommended)

Click Start→All Programs→DAEMON Tools Lite.

Manual uninstallation — Method 1

In case you cannot find DAEMON Tools Lite folder in All Programs list follow the next:

1. Find DAEMON Tools Lite installation folder on your hard disc drive (C:\Program files\DAEMON Tools Lite\ is default installation folder).
2. Double click on uninst.exe to start uninstallation process.
3. Click Uninstall on appeared window. Wizard will automatically uninstall program from your computer.
4. Click Finish to close the window. Now DAEMON Tools Lite is completely uninstalled from you system.

Manual uninstallation — Method 2

In case uninstall operation was not successful, you need to remove DAEMON Tools Lite folder with all files.

1. Find DAEMON Tools Lite installation folder on your hard disc drive (C:\Program files\DAEMON Tools Lite\ is default installation folder) and completely delete it with all files.
2. If you had an older version than DAEMON Tools 4.06 installed, go to \System32\Drivers (usually located in C:\Windows) and delete dtscsi.sys.

Note: DAEMON Tools v4 uses the SPTD (SCSI Pass Through Direct) driver by Duplex Secure. This driver is not uninstalled with DAEMON Tools Lite. For more information how to uninstall SPTD, please visit Duplex Secure.
