Mounting

The common scenario of this command looks like this: you select Mount function and then in Open dialog choose you want image and press the same name button. As result, the image file will be mounted to the selected drive. Below you can find all possible calling methods of the mounting function.

DAEMON Tools Lite — Main window

• Choose an image from Image Catalog or Recently Used Images list. Choose virtual device. Press Mount button on the toolbar to mount an image or simply double click on an image file.
• Left click on the image file icon either from Image Catalog or Recently Used Images list, and holding the mouse button, drag the icon to the virtual device icon in the Virtual Devices panel.
• Right click on an image in the Image Catalog or Recently Used Images and select Mount item from context menu and the target virtual device.
• Select a virtual device and from context menu select Mount item.
  Note: If you select orphaned images, the menu Mount will be disable.

Left click menu

Left click on DAEMON Tools tray icon and then click on virtual device.

Right click menu

• Right click on DAEMON Tools tray icon. Navigate to Virtual Devices and choose a virtual drive. Click on Mount Image… menu item.
• Right click on DAEMON Tools tray icon. Navigate to Image Catalog or Recently Used Images. Select an image. Choose virtual drive from opened dialog.

DAEMON Tools Gadget

Images can be mounted via DAEMON Tools Gadget.

Windows Explorer

Create all needed file associations (Preferences dialog, Integration tab) and twice click on the image file.

Installing Software from Multiple Discs:

• Mount the first image of disc
• Run the installer
• When prompted to insert the next disc, mount the next image of disc on the same drive you mounted the first image on
• Repeat until finished
